Hello gurus,
I'm actually working in a company that wants to start a SAP Screen Personas project but we are stuck because we haven't found a way to incorporate Personas in our current landscape. Right now we have a 3 system landscape (DEV QAS and PRD), we also have a sandbox system which is a copy of the productive system.
So far we have tried Personas in the sandbox system and it works fine. But when we installed the add-on on DEV we found that we could not access all Screens we need because our DEV system has no data. Therefore we need a client in DEV with a reasonable amount of data to develop Personas flavors. At this point we have considered the following alternatives:
- Using TDMS or a 3rd party software to fill a client in DEV with a subset of PRD data. (Copying all PRD data is not an option because we have a 10TB database, however we have budget limitations at this point and this option could delay the project)
- Copying PRD config into a new client in DEV and creating test data from scratch
- Using QAS to develop flavors (we don't want to do this but we have thought of it)
- Using a sandbox system to develop Personas flavors (IDES or a copy of PRD...)
Has anyone faced this kind of situation? We would appreciate any kind of insight on this matter because at this point our only option seems to be creating new data, but right now we would like to avoid that.
