Personas Script Validation

Hi All,

I have programmed a script button in Personas which reads the PO Number from a field and opens the correct PO. It goes to the standard ME23N PO Screen and calls the Other PO button and enters the desired PO number to switch to correct PO.

Now if the PO Number is wrong, the script opens the last PO which was opened previously. It does not displays any message or the standard message 'E:Document <PONumber> does not exist'.

Is there a way, I can know that the script has failed and the right PO has not selected?

Adding a script button to be called from handler for comparing the initial number and reading the new number from the screen is not working.

Any better ideas?
