I seem to have a problem with object picker in scripting. I have inserted text field, but object picker doesn't recognize it, instead it picks-up only userArea, on the other hand - it stills allow to pick the picture, but not text field.
What could be causing this?

I have created a SAP Personas page based on the transaction CAT2.
By the time, I have changed or added field in my screen.
Now when I use the TAB to access the field, the system is jumping from one field to another field, which does not correspond to the layout of the screen.
My question is to know how should I proceed to "re-ordonnance" the Text Field in order to access the Field, by TAB, corresponding of the screen layout ?

In transactions such as IW52, IW53, IW67, I am trying to generate an excel spreadsheet (Menu -> Lists -> Spreadsheet) of the list.
This option does not exist in SAP Personas.
The icon is missing on the top bar, and in Menu -> Lists -> Spreadsheet, 'Spreadsheet' is greyed out.
Is this on purpose? Is this related to notes 512068 (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/512068) and 569441 (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/569441)?

Hi All,
I have a requirement to introduce a new column in All items screen of sales order display as specified below. Also,after adding new column i need to populate the column with a value from different transaction, by providing current screen field values Article & Site as input.
Could some one please let me know how can i achieve this?

I ave a question regarding: merging two screens of one transaction into one. I' ll try to explain with screenshots.
This is regarding transaction VA41:
1. So entering VA41 - it shows initial screen in which only two fields end user needs to fill (yellow) (red ones will be predefined).
2. So I would like to take those two fields to move to the next screen - where they would appear initially as two fields which user needs to fill and then press Create/Enter button and then the next screen from VA41 shows below (table)
If the idea is clear I would like to know is it even possible? if not - maybe you guys have other bright ideas how end user could avoid the initial screen, where only 2 fields are relevant to fill...

This is an old, recurring topic. While we know that there is no support for the new ABAP editor in the Java SAP GUI, I would be interested to know what it would take to add this support.
Is it technically feasible? How many developers would have to show interest for the Java SAP GUI development team to add this support?

We have developed some flavors to run on top of the pp02 transaction, when navigating to the transaction manually the application performs as expected. However we run into some errors when using the generated shortlink.
When navigating to the application via the shortlink our application often fails to switch between flavors (Functionality that works without the shortlink).
We have applied SAP Note 1964257 and its dependent notes.

We have started working on sap persona 3.0 and we have customzied few sap standard transaction.
But the persona screens are running really very slow , however we could see they are running fast enough for our personas 2.0.

We installed the SAP GUI 740 patch 5 on a windows 2008 r2 server. We don't see the saplogon.ini file under
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common. If I place a saplogon.ini file in this location, even then it won't read it. Can you please let me know where it reads this data from?
I setup the environment variable "SAPLOGON_INI_FILE" with the path of the saplogon.ini but then also it doesn't see it. We want remote users to logon to the different SAP servers using this windows server.

Sap gui input history not working on windows 7 (sp1) professional. Installed gui version is 7.30.Initially it was working and suddently its not working.I have gone through the notes provided by sap ,but still not woking. Appreciate your advice to resolve the issue.
Checked using Component Checker tool: Message "UNKNOW" MDAC servsion.
MDAC version as per registry shows : 6.1.xxx.xxx.xxx
One of sap notes , says to execute History.exe to check db connectivity . History.exe output shows DB error , valid jet engine found..
not created Temp DB in C:\ as per the note.
Missmatch column shows expected version 2.82xxxx. for mda*.dll

Hi!
I'm building new flavor and the field has "input help" option, which shows 9 possible entries. I want to restrict this choice only to 2. How can I do this? Because when trying to edit the input window - it offers only to delete all the options not one-by-one.

After installing SAP from the installation server, the Client PC repeatedly as for updates from SAP installation server; click yes, it runs the updates and then ask to run them again ... what can cause this to happen?

Hey guys,
We are not able to run Personas 3.0 in Internet Explorer, It just opens the normal WebGui screen with no 'P' icon in top-center or the bottom-right.
It runs well in Firefox and Chrome.
Is there any particular setting that needs to be done for IE. Also is there any note having browser recommendations for Personas 3.0 ??

I am getting problem in printing no of page through SAP GUI . I just focused that in GUI 730 print dialogue box , if I select no of page more then one (suppose 2 page ) its printing 4 page and for the 3 page its printing 6 page . But its not happing in SAP GUI 710 . User are shouting wastage of paper . Please suggest some solution What I have to do . Please see the screen shot

Is there is option of setting the alias name for the flavor to display in the flavor bar for the users in place of technical name of the flavor?
The requirement here is we have developed the flavors using the naming convention which comprises of technical details. We don't want to show this technical name to the user in the flavor bar rather we want to show a user friendly name to the user. Is there any options to do this in Personas 2.0/SP03 ?

since upgrading on Release 300 SP02 the coding that is generated by
the inspector clicking on a field and then on text provides error below.
Further script-buttons do not work anymore.
You can only start the script out of the editor.

While executing a particular transaction in SAP Screen Personas, the screen is getting refreshed automatically after executing it from Initial screen. Following error is coming in the browser console:

Scenario1:
While changing the table layout using Personas by hiding some columns, and transporting it to target system the table layout design get change as the basic setting/default setting are differ in source and target system in ECC.
Scenario2:
Based on a default setting we are controlling the table layout in Personas. But if this default setting is changed by the super user, than the table layout customized in Personas is also getting changed.
Is there any way to control the table layout in Personas 2.0 /SP03 and Personas 3.0, so that it will not get affected by the change in the default settings in the ECC?
Please share the document and the information regarding the customization of the table layout in SAP Screen Persona 2.0 SP03 or SAP Screen Persona 3.0.
