I want to create MENU button like Quick Create and it should appear in menu list.I tried with Menu Items Button which is available in personas flavor gallery but i could not achieved but one button is generating like script button.

We've created Personas flavour for RECN. We've fetched quite a few bits & pieces from different tabs, to make a single screen for users to create & update contracts.
There is a "Notice" button on Terms tab, which appears only when you select Notice line item. I'm trying to create a script button with a similar behaviour, so that I can switch to a different flavour while displaying "Give Notice" screen.
Any idea or suggestion around how to achieve that?
I've tried creating a new script button, but that button is always visible on Personas screen, whereas real NOTICE button only appears when user selects NOTICE line item on term tab.
I also thought about executing additional script actions when user presses standard SAP notice button, but I can't find a way to add any additional execution options to the standard button.
Any help?

We are attempting to upgrade our users to SAPGUI 740 (patch 2) using the standalone installation package, and are running into issues with users that have the application running when the install takes place.
To be clear: we are attempting to automate this installation process by pushing the installation package out to the users all at once, but in our testing noticed that any of the users who had SAP currently open, were not prompted to close SAP, and ultimately resulted in an installation failure. This failure also caused SAP to no longer function as intended, and we were forced to uninstall and reinstall SAP entirely on these particular machines. On the user machines where SAP was NOT open when the package installed, the process was successful.
Our initial thoughts were to create a script that closed all processes/services that run with the SAP 730 GUI frontend application that we are upgrading, but we've been unsuccessful with finding any relevant information regarding what those processes and services are. We also figured that there may be a better method of accomplishing what we are trying to do, that we just aren't seeing or are aware of, which is why we are posting this discussion here.
Please let me know if there is any pertinent information that I'm leaving out that would help us resolve this issue. Thanks for any help you can give!

We are currently on SAP Personas Release 300, SP 0002, Kernel Release 742, Kernel Patch 300, Client Note 2222774, Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 m, IE Version: 10
With this setup, we are currently on adventure to consolidate VA01. However, we are seeing some issues with tab merge's. I would really appreciate any help.
Issues:
1) On item screen (4003), we moved Shipping block from Shipping tab to tab Sales A and hid all the moved fields (except Plant, SLoc, Shipping Point, and Route). Screen renders perfectly well when we test it, as long as we select entries for Plant/SLoc/Shipping Pt/Route via F4 key. If we were to manually key in, any of these values and hit enter, we are bumping in to "Backend error occured" screen, at which point we are forced to sync it to move forward. I made sure we have screen overwrite entry for VA01/SAPMV45A/4003 as well as the control overwrite for SAPMV45A/wnd[0]/usr/tabsTAXI_TABSTRIP* . (In fact, we are seeing the issue even with a control over write created for the plant field) . What am I missing in here?
2) As I said above, if we were to do an F4 on Plant field (moved from Shipping to Sales A tab), we are able to choose the plant. However, we are ending up on Shipping tab (which gets unhidden). Anyway, to make sure that this tab remains hidden, without having to have users click on some custom command button on Shipping tab which will take them back to Sales A and hide Shipping tab? onAfterRefresh on GuiMainWindow?
3) One other issue am seeing is on the initial overview, 4001, screen. On this screen, I am unable to hide the tabs. Browser (both Chrome & IE) dont even let me choose the tabs for hiding. I have hidden tabs, in VA31, VA01 Item, VA01 Header. So I dont think I am doing anything wrong on Overview screen. And I do have screen and control overwrites for VA01/SAPMV45A (wnd[0]/usr/tabsTAXI_TABSTRIP*). Am currently, working around this issue with a script onLoad.

The problem is I cannot connect and log on via SAPGUI.
I am very new to SAP. I have just managed to install SAP ECC6.0 on my laptop running server 2008 service pack2. It created another user account "IDSAdmin" itself when the installation finished. Everey thing (SAP ECC, Oracle, Java) is 64 bit.
But the GUI is 32 bit and after installation when I tried to connect some error comes up. Error details are

I'm trying to style the Control as it is shown in the Style Guide SAP Screen Personas 3.0 Fiori Style Guide - SAP Imagineering - SCN Wiki
How do I style the TabItems as it is shown in the Style Guide (for example: blue backgorund on active tabitem or blue border under the tabitems)? Are these new created "labels" or do I have to restyle the "old" tabitems?

Has any testing been done with the Java GUI and the upcoming macOS 10.12 (Sierra)? I just tried it on the latest beta and the GUI crashes when I try to run an ALV report, e.g. BCALV_TEST_FULLSCREEN
This version of macOS is probably coming out within the next 4 to 6 weeks at a guess. Users being users, they will try to upgrade on the day it comes out.

I'm facing a problem with a user that their SAP GUI doens't save the history from the words or number that he input in the SAP GUI (example logon screen: when type the user, doens't save for another logon. Transactions when needs to type numbers like ME21N and any field from any place from SAP GUI doens't save the history from he types).
Could you have any tips to solve this issue?
The SAP GUI version from this user is 740 Patch 8.

Anyone using a Mac having trouble with Personas 3 on SP03 using Chrome.
We have just updated and since the update when I click the 'P' ... nothing happens!
it works fine in Safari, and I've tested it in Windows which also works.
I've cleared Cache, both local and server-side

I have an odd error happening with different users. When I turn on desktop tracing through the SAP GUI the error doesn't occur on the backend for the user. Has anyone run across a note which resolves this. I know we need to update the GUI on the desktops but the runtime error is indicating it's a kernel error.
The back end is abap NW 7.40 SP10 with kernel 7.45 patch 119. Our Desktops are Windows 7 with SAP GUI 7.40 core patch 2.

Hi all,
I've created my own RFC with some simple data and added it to the whitelist.
But the 2nd parameter ZZREPORT doesn't seem to be reaching the RFC from the script.
If I comment-out line 37, then it will process the 2nd submit. If I leave line 37 in, then it does nothing.
Any suggestions?
FYI: my intention was to have one RFC for a number of maintenance order "additional functions" by passing the ZZREPORT parameter from the script to the RFC.

Hi all,
We have an issue in Personas 3.0 SP3 when using multi line text fields which only occurs in GUI for Windows (not GUI for HTML / ITS).
If we enter some text in the box everything is fine:
When we start to edit the text it turns to BOLD and we sometimes get strange characters. Often when we delete characters they are not deleted from the text box:
If we then move the focus away from this text box (i.e. click somewhere else) then the text corrects itself:
We also noticed that any character limits we placed in ITS do not work in the GUI for Windows
We are on Personas 3.0 SP3, kernel release 742 and patch 401.
We have the issue with the 740 GUI on patches 7 and 9.

I have created a javascript resource file and am calling it from a script button using a session.utils.include statement.
How do I change the contents of the javascript without needing to recreate the resource file which will create a new GUID? I have tried uploading a new version of the javascript file to the resource but it doesn't recognize that anything has changed.

I'm new to Personas (we have 3.0) and I'm trying to develop some scripts. I have written some JavaScript functions that I would like to use in different sections of my code (for the same flavor).
I created a script named Functions and put my functions in there. They validate fine, but when I try to call them from another script, I get a undefinedReferenceError on the function name. I can call the function within the same script, so I believe this is a scope issue.
Is there anyway to share functions between different scripts? If not, how are you handling instances like this?
I also thought about making all of my code into functions, and then put them all into one script. But I don't see any way to attach a function name to an event, such as a button click. I only seem to be able to attach a script name to the event.
