Hi,

I have an issue with these four buttons (found in the ALV Toolbar) in Personas. My screen design requires new icons  for the ALV and its butttons..

The first 3 buttons are Filter, Choose Layout and Sumup/Total. Each button will have 2 functions Eg. Filter + Dropdown Menu

The 4th button is a Export. It only has a Dropdown Menu.

Requirement

Need to redesign these 4 buttons with all their functions intact.

Issue Faced in Personas

1) Personas recognises the first 3 button types as a single button.

2) Cant change the icon of these buttons (passing ICON_ID in the element properties)

3) Using a script button with a PUSH feature I can only access the Filter Button but not the dropdown function.

4) When using a script button  with a PUSH feature on the Export_Button it throws an error.

So basically Personas is having trouble identifying with the DROPDOWN feature of these ALV buttons. And secondly Icons cant be changed for these buttons for some reason.

Any input/ideas to modify these buttons would be much appreciated.

We have SAP ECC EHP6 on SUSE LINUX Release 11 Kernel Linux 3.0. 13-0.27-default. i recently upgraded the kernel to 720_EXT_REL 64 bit UNICODE patch 500.

I notice this lately we have a lot ST22 dumps:

Hello everybody.

I'm looking for a way to customize the shortcut to sap transaction, because my need is to open the ME23N on a PO, simply clicking the file we send out via email to a specific user. E.g.: the user receives the link via email attachment, he opens it and after inserting his logon data, the sapgui shows the desired PO in ME23N.

So, if this is the content of the link:

I would like to know if it's possible to pass values from fields that are in a screen, to another fields that are in another screen ?

My need is that i have to save the values from the fields in the screen 1, then press Enter key to enter the second screen, and then, apply the saved values to the new fields.

The problem is that i can save the values in a script, using variables, in the first screen, but then, when i press the Enter key, to enter the next screen, i have to create another script for this new screen, and retrieve the values of my variables in this new script.

But doing this way seems not work.

The only possible way would be to create a custom button, affect a script that contain :

- Variables with the value of the fields of my first screen

- Press Enter key

- Affect variables to my new fields for the second screen.

All in the same script.

I can do that, but if the user press the Enter key, this script is not executed, so the user access the second screen without the needed values in the fields.

I tried to find a way to apply  a script to the Enter key (or the standard SAP button associated) but didn't find it.

Do you know how i can do to fill the fields from a screen, with the values of fields in another one, without doing it in the same script ?

I don't know if my explanations are understandable. Let me know if not.

Hello All,

I have problem with my history of SAP.

I have multiple systems in my logon pad like prod, development, quality, etc.

But history only works with very first system started.

If i start quality system session first from logon pad, history only works with that system sessions.

If i start any new system, history does not work. no history data populates automatically on typing back space or space bar.

My History setting is also perfect > History is On, Expiry time, max file size and everything is large enough.

Please help since if i want to work with two systems at a time, i cannot work efficiently due to non- working of history in system started after first time.

SAP GUI 7.40 closes and theres nothing ...

not even error messege when I try to connect to a server.

I even reinstalled my windows 7 (clean) then installed sapgui 7.4

then tried and it did not work,

So, installed Patch level 1 and tried and did not work.

Then installed PL1 hotfox 1 and tried and did not work...

I am using Windows 7 64bit SP1.

Searched SCN and googled everywhere and did not solve my issue.

Can someone help me?

By the way, the purpose of this is to change the background image into our Company Logo. Or is there a way to fix the issue of SAP Screen Personas landing page to always be in FULL SCREEN/STRETCH mode so that the default background image will not be shown.

I have an HTML viewer that calls a WebRFC based on the value of a field in my flavor.  The update of the HTML viewer takes a few seconds and I would like the mouse icon to change to the hourglass while it's waiting.  The problem is that I'm refreshing the HTML viewer from a script button (which is executed after the user enters a value in the field and hits enter), but the script button doesn't know when the viewer has completed updating.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

FYI - I'm using Personas 2.0 SP2.

   i have a requirement to display status message separately beside a text box component.I tried using the script button,But the status dynamically changes for each and every input we are giving.

we have some troubles with SAPgui 7.3 / patch lvl 7 while using Excel 2010. All SAPGUI sessions close without any alert while Excel file is being recalculated. I´ve checked windows task manager and CPU usage is 100% while Excel recalculation.

I know about 3 computers with the same issue within our dpt. All of them have same configuration Windows 7/64bit, Office 2010, SAPGui 7.30/patch lvl 7

Any idea how to fix this , is there any patch for that  ?

Hi All,

In a screen I have a script button where I have input field validations and also I have script to press the standard SAP provided run button to execute the subsequent flow. So when user is pressing the script button my flow is working as per expectation but when user is pressing F8 button all the field validations getting bypassed which I dont want.

Is there any way/place where  I can put my validation which gets executed while users push F8?

I have been trying to use WebRFC returning an array, but when I copy the key to , i can only see the last value returned.

The content type that i am returning is 'application/json'.

That is what i have been returning from my WebRFC:

I have it validated in The JSON Validator.

In a copy of the SMEN transaction, this script work with a script button very well. But when I try to execute this script with the Screen Events, nothing happens. I try all events and refresh the SMEN transaction with Ctrl+F1.
