Removed components from 7.40 Compilation 2

i read this note and downloaded the viewer and editor into a folder, it says to import it into server, but  i get a message " the specified path is not a valid installation server.

i did manage to install the ECL viewer, but it would only install as a patch, when i tried to import it i received the same message as the editor. How do i import the script into the server?

 

Removed components as of 7.40 Compilation 2: The “Controls for the SAPscript Legacy Text Editor” and the “ECL Viewer” have been removed from the SAP GUI delivery as of 7.40 Compilation 2. See SAP

      recently  I  have studied  the  screen personas,everyone configuration is well,but if I log on the system,it is always display below error.

 

     I have add all authorization in su01,but it always display.

 

    please someone help me,

Has anyone tried out SAP GUI with Windows 10 yet?  I'm considering upgrading some PCs (currently on Win 8.1 and SAPGUI 7.4) but was curious if 7.40 still worked on Win10.

Is SAP GUI 64bit available yet (2015-Nov)? I have some real issues running MSOffice 32bit because of the SAP GUI 32bit limitation. No issues when I upgraded MSOffice 64 bit, but Bex Analyzer doesn't work on 64bit.

ABAP Editor issue.

Hi All,

 

Today onwards I am using SAP GUI 7.4 but I observed, some of the variable is showing in red colour, still it does not have any error.

Which is easy to implement.

What are the prerequisites

What are the technical requirements for implementation?

 

I have some visibility of Fiori, as see the component SAP UI when I was doing installations and upgrades.

 

I can lauch the Fiori launch pad, but what about Screen personas?

Personas 3.0 not Working

Hi All,

 

I have just installed personas 3.0 and after patching to SP01, the Personas screen is just frozen and i dont get the "P" icon.

 

Things ive tried

- Applied all the notes per installation guide

- Updated kernel to latest patch (PL 310)

- Applied Personas SP02

- Applied the note 2222774

 

In All this.. there is no change.. screen is still frozen and there is no "P" icon

Personas 3.0: Back Button Issue

Hi all,

 

Currently running Personas 3.0 and have created a flavor for the article master. I have a tile set up in the Fiori launchpad to run this flavor. This works correctly and the user is presented with a screen to enter an article number. Once they have done this, they are taken to a second screen with the article details.

 

My issue is the back button does not behave as expected. When hitting back on the second screen, it should take them back to the first screen with the article number input but it instead takes them to transaction /personas/launch.

 

Strangely, the button works as expected if running the flavor from the webGUI without being launched from Fiori.

 

Has anyone come across this issue?

 

Edit-

I also get this issue if I run transaction from the webGUI and launch my flavor using its GUID. Instead of going back to the previous screen in the transaction the flavor is based on, it instead backs out to the flavor launcher. Not sure how to resolve this.

Is there a way to disable the right-click context menu in Personas?

I define a very simple Personas flavor (let's say, for a minimal display of an Equipment Master record) which contains just a handful of relevant fields. I hide all unnecessary navigation buttons, menu options or tabs, and it is a single display screen what I want.

However the user can still click the right mouse button, which brings up the context menu and allows navigating to various other views in the transaction. I would like to prevent this since they are unnecessary and especially because then I'd have to customize all those other screens according to my theme and style elements.

 

Is it possible to achieve this somehow? I tried various javascript suggestions via a script button, but they don't have any effect.

Problem with Personas when operated from Portal

Hi All,

 

I have a Personas dashboard where i am having six different buttons ,6 different buttons  navigating/calling six different Tcodes(Tcodes made on ECC side/se93).

 

Scenario on Personas tool:

1) Any transaction is called and upon pressing back button(PF status) it gets navigated back to Personas dashboard.

 

Scenario in Portal (dashboard is being operated out from portal) :

1) Any transaction is called and upon pressing back button(PF status) it doesn't navigate back to Personas dashboard instead it gets navigated to Standard SAP easy access screen.

 

Note:All operation of PF_STATUS is standard and it works good on SAP ECC side and Personas tool too, the only problem i am facing is while operating from the Portal.

 

It would be really great if anyone can help me in this scenario..

SAP Personas 3.0 - HTML Viewer does not display content

Hi All,

 

I am trying to place a Clock in my SAP home page designed in Personas 3.0 and i did the following

 

1. Created a URL whitelist

2. Created a HTML viewer and assigned the URL

But when i exit Personas and the page does not display any clock?

 

Any idea where i am going wrong??

 

All suggestion is really helpful.

Problem with DART - missing segment

hey folks,

 

I have a problem with DART.

 

I want to extract the data in according to vendor master in our system.

 

My steps are for this as follows:

 

1. Search for the view with the correct segment --> 0SAP_VNDR  Vendor master

 

2. Enter the following data as follows:

3. Start the view and I get the following error:

4a) the "No"-Button:

Can anyone help me that I get a correct data file with correct vendor master data?

Personas Scripting - Update Data

Hi,

 

I am looking at different scenario's of using SAP Screen Personas within the HR environment.

 

Currently all the demonstration content and training material is focused a lot on the retrieval of data from multiple transaction screens and displaying it on for example a launchpad, but I have not seen anything on the update of data back to the database. Is this possible with scripting as well?

 

For instance, in HR we have PA40 that you can use with a transfer action. When you execute PA40 it populates multiple field on multiple infotypes.

 

Would it be possible to create a flavor for PA40 or PA30 where you add edit fields which will create new infotypes by using a scripting button?

 

Any suggestions/ideas are welcome

Personas 3.0 SP1 - VA01 - Popup

Hi Experts,

 

In create sales order screen(VA01) -

 

When I click on the Sales Order Line item and hit the Ext Dtls button - a popup appears for external details. - here I am using only one field Mode of Transport. - See below screen shot.

 

Is there a way using Personas 3.0 SP1 - I can have the field somewhere in the main screen itself, so that I don't have to hit Ext Details button for multiple lines every time, just for that one field.

 

Note: there can be multiple line items in a sales order.

SAP Screen Personas 3.0 Scroll Issue

All,

 

I'm currently facing issues with the scroll functionality in SAP screen personas 3.0.

 

In personas 2.0, the scroll worked as expected, and it allowed the user to see the remainder of the back ground image and the additional fields.

 

In 3.0 however, the scroll isn't actually moving the back ground image. The scroll moves the remaining fields although the background image remains still.

 

An example of this can be seen in the attached word document.

 

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this, or are facing a similar issue with scroll bars in personas 3.0?

Personas 3.0 SAP toolbar

Hi,

 

During certain scenarios, the buttons place in the standard SAP tool bar will appear under an ellipsis on the right hand sign of the screen (example in the attached screenshot).

 

Is there a setting to stop this from happening?
