Smartform can not open text - word 64 bit

Dear gurus,

 

My SAP GUI is 740 patch 6 and Office 2010 64 bit. When I open 1 text in Smartform, error happens.

 

Error message: "the macro cannot be found or has been disable because of your Macro security setting". And SAP cant work.

 

I am sending error screen in attached file.

 

I wonder any configuration must do to fix this error because some information I know that SAP GUI 740 can support office 64 bit.

 

Please advice me either do something to use or I must install office 32 bit.

Has anyone tried out SAP GUI with Windows 10 yet?  I'm considering upgrading some PCs (currently on Win 8.1 and SAPGUI 7.4) but was curious if 7.40 still worked on Win10.

Error in Tab merging in SAP Screen personas 3.0 SP01

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to merge certain mandatory fields from different tabs in purchase order creation wherein we have been receiving a back end error and not able to proceed further. Would be helpful if some light is thrown to resolve error.

 

System Configuration is as follows:

 

SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP01

Kernal 742 Patch Level 200

 

 

Have also executed Z report created as per the attachment as specified in note: 0002051455 SAP Screen Personas 3.0 : Screen and Control Overwrite Entries

Personas 2.0 : Truncation of flavor name in assignment within groups

Happy New Year everyone!

 

I have a slight issue. I have a few flavors, the name of which, exceeds 20 characters.

However, in the flavor assignment window, the name is truncated.

While this is on purpose by SAP, I wonder why!

 

Eg:-

 

Consider two flavors,

The 'Add' button (similar to F4 help search) when adding flavors to groups, displays the correct name (within 255 characters).

Notice that in this window, the flavor name is truncated. Even expanding the column space does not allow the characters to be displayed.

While this is as per deliberate design, I wonder why!

It allows flavor names to be 255 characters along. However, the Def Length has been set as 20 and the Visible Length has been set as 27! Why would SAP do that?

Error message during creation/change

Hello all,

 

When creating/changing a contract, we might get the following error…when we enter a new Material and hit ENTER. As per the current flavor design, it does not give me any error but I get this error in GUI and somehow need to capture it and display it to the user . What is the best way to do it.

Personas 3.0 HTML Viewer not getting displayed.

Hello All,

 

I am trying to display HTML viewer in Personas 3.0,  by adding HTML Viewer element and passing the url to it, but when I save and exit nothing is getting displayed(No errors while saving). I got below error in the browser's console.

 

Could you please check below and let me know how to solve this?

Hello

I have installed the sapgui Java 7.40 on windows 7.

How can i create the connection to the SAP Systems???  when i start sapgui Java and try to create a new connection the fieds system, message servers are read only fields and are empty.

VA41 Table troubles

Hi,

 

I have encountered some difficulties when trying to customized the VA41 table. I have hidden all tabs except Sales, but table in not working/ appearing as it should:

 

1. When moving from initial screen to next - although I have hidden all of the rest tabs - it still shows Item Overview tab until the Ship-To and Sold-To parties are entered:

As long as I can find workaround this issue with scripting, I still want to know why Personas is acting like this?

 

2. Scroll bar is missing from the table side. Firstly I don't understand why only two rows are displayed in Sales tab, cause in the SAP GUI there is more rows visible - it kind a makes it more difficult to work with so compact view - even I try to change the size of table - it wont change, How can I get more rows to be displayed?

Does anyone have idea why this is happening? Is it general problem with tabs and tables or just VA41?

Automated testing of Personas

Can the SAP CBTA automated test tool be used to test Screen Personas?  I have been evaluating CBTA recorded test scripts on a portal.  After the portal team upgraded Web GUI screens to Personas my scripts fail.  I understand that Personas 2.0 uses Microsoft Silverlight which is not supported by CBTA.  Does anyone know if Personas 3.0, which doesn't use Silverlight, can be tested using CBTA?

Very urgent! Translation of flavors

Hi guys!

I need as urgently as possible to translate the flavors, but when opening the flavor translation the only available option is English, and "Add language" button is disabled. But system in general is available in German, English and Norwegian (i.e. I can log on into screen personas and the menu items will be in Norwegian).

 

What should I do, to be able to automatically translate flavors???

Personas authorisation object P_RUNTIME checks

Hi

 

we have not yet implemented PERSONAS but there has been some basic configuration during our EHP upgrade and some services appear to be active in SICF.  Authorisation failures are now appearing against transactions in the SAP GUI eg P_RUNTIME failure for transactions SMEN and SUIM and standard SAP end user transactions and workflows.

 

It would be possible for me to assign P_RUNTIME to all users to remove these failures, but I want to find out why these authorisation checks are happening on non-PERSONAS transactions.

 

Any ideas or advice?

Missing Master- and Configuration Guide for SAP Sreen Personas 20 SP03

Hello  all,

 

I have 2 Questions.

 

 

1. I an not find the documents "Master Guide" and "Configuration Guide" for SAP Screen Personas 20. I need it for Version 2.0 SP03

 

   I  looked in the instguides, but I did not find them any more..

     Are they replaced by other documents ?. 

 

2. If i look into the new SAP Sreen Personas 20 Configuration Guide Addendum.  I found different proposals to configure the crossdomain.XML file, as      it was described in the old Configuration Guide Addendum. In the new document I found the proposal under a Microsoft link. In the old   document      there is an other proposal.. Is there a valid proposal  to configure the  crossdomain file for SAP Screen Personas 20 SP03 ?.

I think this code looks at anything without a cost center and posts the entries in a settlement account. Would love confirmation or additional info on this. Tried looking this up in the community and on Google.

UI5 Table in Personas: How to get the selected row context

Hi all,

 

Within SMEN, I have got a UI5 table (in a htmlviewer), which fetches data from the backend. (It shows a list of Work Orders).

When a row is selected from this UI5 table and a script button on SMEN is clicked, i want to goto IW32, but with the context information (of the selected row).

 

Is this possible? Within the UI5 table's select event handler, I tried to set the window object of the parent, but this fails due to cross origin issue. 

I saw that session object is not available within the htmlviewer's js context.

 

Any other suggestions?

I am Not able to open Bluebar in SAP Screen Persona 3.0 after login

All of sudden, after login into sap screen personas 3.0, I am not able to open top bluebar for flavor editing.

 

It constantly showing busy sign.

Screen Personas 3.0 -> retrieve data via RFC (Tables parameter)

Hi experts,

I have a scripting problem when trying to retrieve data via RFC. I know how to get data from an export parameter (JSON.parse(rfc.getResult("Parameter Name")). But I want to retrieve data from a table parameter. In the community you can find an example with functional module 'BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL'. Does anybody know how to get data from one of the table parameters (for example 'ACTIVITYGROUPS' or 'PROFILES')?

It would be great if someone could write a short answer.
