I am on personas 3.SAPK 3.
what I am trying to do is to create a TECO button on main IW32 screen . as in screen below 
now to do that, I need to enter an order ID, open it and from the menu I need to do the Technically completed. ( below)
To do this, I have simple done screen recording and then added the script to the button.
When I clicking "TECO" I am getting the below error.
kindly help in this issue.

to give a background, I am modifying Iw32 screen.
There is a functionality to do the TECO inside the screen and I am copying it to the main IW32 screen.
In few cases where the ORDER Is perfect, there is a popup and then press OK . TECO is takes place.
SO script is like below-
1) Open order
2) Press TECO.
3) Press OK ( for Popup).
In case if order is not perfect, it shows "Warning Message" in the message tool bar - but only in GUI .
now as my script is running all the three steps it shows "CONTROL not found "

I am facing a very strange problem since a couple of days. Yesterday I opened as usual my SAP Logon. The program started regularly.
Then I double click on the connection that I always use, then it appeared the small window saying "connecting to ECP please wait"...but then nothing happened. I waited for a very long time but nothing happened.
What can be the problem?
I have a user requesting multiple tcodes be rendered in one flavor. Is that possible.
I know I can get selected data from each tcode but can the entire tcode be rendered in a flavor
For example
MD04 with ME2M and ME1M.

i) Tried to export Flavors, Themes & Resources .... my export file doesn't seem to include the Theme information?
ii) Importing what is in the file my flavors go into my gallery and have to be manually re-assigned to the t-codes ... is that the way it's supposed to work?
iii) I'm getting this message for my SMEN flavor 'Backend Error Occured'

My Personas editor is stuck on the following screens.
I can edit other flavors I created but for one particular flavor I can not get past this message.
Version: Personas 30. SP03
Transaction: SMEN
Browser: Internet Explorer 11
Is there anyway to resolve this issue?

We did have problems upgrading to Personas Release 3 / SP3 - with the help of OSS we stripped it back and started again (hence the need to export and import flavors) but I think we may still have a problem with our setup.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

I'm facing the following (from my point of view "simple") problem: I've a screen containing a GuiTabStrip and I want to go to a different tab via script and then proceed with executing some functionality on this tab also via script. Well, I thought this would be a simple issue. So I recorded the following very simple script:
session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/...").select();
with wnd[0]/usr/... pointing to the respective tab.
But when executing the script, I get the following error:
Error during script execution:Error: RestGui Batch Request Error:Step 0 ({"post":"action/4/wnd[0]/usr/..."}) failed: -102 [control not found]
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
I've checked the Id of the tab via the inspector - it's ok.

we are currently running 720 that is installed with installion server package . I am developer and I have never work on such matters so bare with me.
Someone created an installation server package for sapgui 720 and it working well(Sreenshot1). When I run it, it install gui 720 with the saplogon.ini file being created in C:\Users\Public\AppData\SAP\Common\saplogon.ini as shown on Screenshot1 script.
When I copy this installation scripts and use this to create an new installaion package for 740 , the Saplogon.is not being copied into C:\Users\Public\AppData\SAP\Common\saplogon.ini .
I am using the a copy of the old CustomerFile folder from d 720 .
As a matter of fact, folder AppData\SAP\Common\ folder is not even being generated with 740 installion package.
any ideas would be appreciated.

Any ideas as to why Nwsapsetup.exe hangs on client machine when ran from a batch file. I have noticed more than one nwsapsetup.exe running in the task area on the client, when i end all but one the installation starts.

I am learning SAP. Therefore i successfully installed SAP Netweaver trial application on my Windows 8 pro Laptop.
However i am having problem installing the GUI 7.3.
When i try to execute the file: ABAP_SAP_GUI_for_Windows_7_30_PL4_HF1_121_MB.exe it shows following error at the time of installation.
NOT ALL PACKAGE PERQUISITES ARE FULFILLED.
AT LEAST ONE OF THE PACKAGE PERQUISITES ARE NOT FULFILLED.
*INSTALL SAP GUI 7.20
*THE 32bit JAVA 6 RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT OR 32bit JAVA 7 RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT
I have already installed Java runtime environment 8 64bit as my Laptop architecture is 64bit.
Please help me get through this guys.. I have wasted almost 2 days over this silly thing.

Flavor-version 302 is newer than the system version 103.

Post-upgrade flavors:
Flavor-version 303 is newer than the system version 103.
Message number: /PERSONAS/MESSAGES830
Above error occurs in SAP GUI and WebGui/

I am in strange situation where my customer would like to track print jobs using a print job accounting software and secure print feature (release jobs at the device once authenticated)
They have Windows 7 PC with SAP GUI 730, version 7300.2.5.1084.
So printing any jobs works fine, no issue. But printing SAP jobs generates a strange behavior where the "user name" is substituted with the "Machine name" therefore the job in the secure print workflow cannot be retrieved by the user because it belongs to a "Machine name".

What lead me to SAP GUI was the last entry in this blog (about printing the German newspaper via the browser) and had the customer confirm it only happens with SAP printing and nothing else.
So not knowing too much about SAP GUI, I was wondering if there is a setting that could be set to "force attach" the username ID to the SAP print stream instead of the default Machine name.
Secondary question, will the new release 740 correct this?
Anyone has seen this and what is the fix.
Would appreciate a quick response since this is creating frustrations for my customer.

Hello all,
I've just upgraded my workstation from GUI 730 to GUI 740 (yes, yes, I know, late to the game), and I am struggling with some issues in the user interface. Specifically, in SE10 (and perhaps other transactions), the expand/collapse tree control seems to have disappeared entirely. For instance, with GUI 730, I'm used to SE10 looking something like this:
Note all the expanded (and two collapsed) controls, allowing a hierarchical display of the systems and transports, and ultimately of transport contents.
After upgrade to 740, however, the controls disappear, replaced with a shaded blank area, and clicking that area does not produce the expected behavior:
For instance, when clicking where the + symbol should be to the left of the two listed transports, instead of expanding the display to show the tasks under those transports as one would expect, it duplicates the behavior of double-clicking on the transport number itself, thus opening an entirely different screen. It is still possible to expand the hierarchy by right-clicking on a line and choosing Expand from the context menu, but this is much more cumbersome.
I tried this with different themes, including Blue Crystal, Corbu, and Signature (pictured in the screenshots), and also in Signature with "Corbu style icons" turned off, but it didn't make any difference. I also tried it against both NW 7.01 and NW 7.4 backends, and it didn't make any difference.
This is with GUI 7.40 compilation 3 (and therefore patch level 8), the latest available at this time. I know patch 9 is coming out in roughly a week, but I didn't see anything in the list of known bugs (Note 2035293) that looked like it described this problem. My OS is Windows 7 sp1, pretty well hotfixed up.
Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how did you resolve it?

After installing Personas, we have noticed many authorization errors in regards to P_RUNTIME.
I found a thread that had mentioned to either implement note 2276155 or install SP3. We have now installed SP3, but are still encountering the same issue.
For example:
I have a user who has access to me23n. After entering me23n, they go to SU53 and receive many P_RUNTIME authorization failures. This user does not have any Personas roles assigned, nor is there any flavors created for me23n. We will receive multiple failures with the same object but different authorization field values.
When I assign the parameter /PERSONAS/RUN_MODE = O this supresses the errors in some cases (but not all), additionally we are not too keen to be assigning this PID to 20,000+ users who are not going to be using Personas and than removing it as we roll-on other groups.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed standalone SAP 740(patch 8) and everything is working well with no errors. Afterwards , I install NWBC 6.0 level 4(latest).
After installing NWBC, every time I open the SAPGUI , I get this pop up error. Anybody know know how to get rid of this?
I tried looking for the CoreLandscapeFileonServer registry but can't find it on REGEDIT.
What is the trick to selecting and pressing on the "More Fields" button in XD01 Address tab via a script? I have tried using the selection tool to setFocus and press. I have also tried via recording the action. Either way, I receive an unidentified control message.
My goal is to have all the fields made immediately available to the user. Thanks
