I have recently installed the SAP GUI 7.30. When launching the saplgpad.exe, I see that the icons are all greyed out. What is the fix for this?

Tab handling in SAP Screen Personas
Hi Experts,
Is there a document or note for Tab Handling in SAP Screen Persons for create transactions with mandatory fields?
I added certain fields from using the Tab Merging feature and am not able to see the fields on the Personas screen thereafter.

Can we call another flavor using launch button or script button
I am creating a Welcome screen ( 1st flavor for SMEN transaction) . However I want to call another flavor ( 2nd flavor for SMEN transaction) from 1st flavor . Second flavor will have a few transactions ( for example which are used only for budgeting , so this flavor will work as a budget cockpit) . I know we can make both flavors available in users' flavor bar , but we really wanted to give them a push button which takes them to this new flavor . This is less confusing for users . Is there a way to do that ?
Or is there a way to call Favorite folder ?

SAP GUI and Win 7 error when attaching a document
I searched Google multiple times for an answer but didn't find one, so I'd like to bring it up in this forum.
I start by saying that mine is a large corporation with centralized application, Windows and security configuration, so I have very little manuvering as far as changing settings.
The problem we run into is as follows:
some users who use a particular (Quality Assurance) module of SAP need to regularly attach documents (typically PDF format) in SAP. The typical size of an attachment is between 3-7 MB.
Those documents are store on a network file share remote to the site. The network latency between the site and the file share location is approx. 6ms (not huge by any means). Users are running Win 7 Enterprise SP1.
Randomly, the attachment download fails in SAP and they have to exit and log back in to SAP to resume. The attachment may fail2-3 times, and then succeed or fail permanently.
Copying the file to a local drive (C:) and then attaching it in SAP always works.
The users report that this was not an issue when they were using WinXP SP3 a few months back.
Again, the problem is random in that it cannot be recreated at will but happens often enough to be more than just an inconvenience.
the Windows event log logs the following message when the attach process fails and SAP freezes:
The program saplogon.exe version 7300.1.2.1080 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Effect of Parameter ID for a field in Personas flavor
I have a configured a "Set parameter ID" with a default "parameter value" for a field in my user ID in SAP Gui.
When I call a transaction in SAP Gui, it works fine , but it does not in flavor of same transaction.
I just want to confirm that Parameter IDs which otherwise work in SAP Gui would not be work in Personas for the same user or am I doing something wrong?

Java GUI for Apple Mac with Load Balancing setup
Hi Experts,
Wondering if someone can help me with a small question. We are trying to install Java GUI for Apple Mac pcs. I have managed to create the connections file and place it and get the logon details for the systems without load balancing. But, now we need to connect systems which have been configured for load balancing. In windows we would normally require entries in the services file and a sapmsg.ini.
Does anyone know the setup required for logon load balancing for Apple mac pcs?

Persona: "You are not allowed to access" : Not finding Utility.js
Hi friends,
I am trying to launch the Persona application. It gives me an error saying "Problem With the network Connectivity"
When I check the console it says could not find "bc/bsp/persos/mainapp/Utilities.js" file. I went to the application and see that there is a a Utility.js.BAK file, but not Utility.js file.
Can someone help please?

Doubts with images - SAP Screen Personas
Hi Experts.
I am looking for rules or prerequisites for work (add) with background images (when we try to add this images an error message appears “Invalid Data Provided“) and to call URLs/Webpages in part of the screen transaction (when we add a URL control the flavor is superimposed by the webpage/the webpage do not respect the size of the URL control).

"Stay on this Page" "Leave this Page" pops up when using SAP URL?
Has anyone else experience this pop-up message when an SAP URL (www.sap.com) is embedded in a Personas frame??
No problem with non-SAP URL such as from the google.com family.
Same problem persist even in the WTS environment.
I had a quick discussion with Tamas Hoznek today and he experienced the same problem.
Seems to be a recent problem. I already logged an OSS ticket on this.
Thoughts anyone??

CMS socket errors
After many years of successful use, we are getting alot of Socket Open errors on CMS. Our IT team says nothing has changed and we cannot find the source of this issue. It seems to be random, and often-occurring! I am wondering if it could somehow be related to Office 365.
Any thoughts and insights are appreciated!

I am using SAP 7.3 , in transaction FB03 , I exported table to spreadsheet and file extension was "XML file nm. (XLS)".
another user do the same but file extension was "XML file nm. (MHT)"
How can i change MHT to XLS ?

Screen Personas - Document billing not found with ref. delivery
Hi All,
I created a javascript button for save first screen in va01 , after save Sales order, execute transactions : Delivery (VL01N) / post goods isse and billing (VF01).
But the process "Post goods issue" is realized in update task and billin process return this message: "Document XXXX does not exist" Message no. VF03.
However when I inform documento number XXXX (Delivery) in VF01. The error does not happen. Because document number XXXX has been commited in data base.
I belive it is necessary to await processing "Post goods issue", but do not know how to do.
I tried command wait in javascript "setTimeout(function(){},5000);" , but did not work. Can anyone help me with any tips ?

SAPGUI Installation Server Migration
Hello all,
We currently use a classic SAP Frontend Installation Server to distribute SAPGUI to users, but to date it has resided on a multi-function server and we are now looking to migrate it to a dedicated server. We're not currently using logon scripts nor SMS to push the installations, as most users have got it installed at this point and it's easy enough to run the nwsapsetup command when someone gets a new workstation or a new employee is hired who needs the software.
So, my question is, what works best for automating the process of migrating all those existing SAPGUI installations to point to the new installation server location for patches, etc? If possible, I'd prefer to avoid adding it to a logon script. I had thought that I could add the new server location as an additional indexed server in the old server's configuration, as it seemed to me that then existing clients would pick up that a newer patch level was available in the new location and update from there, at which point the new location would be recorded in their registry. However, that appears to not work as I expected. I even tried updating the 'package revision level' on the old server to trigger a client update, which it did, but in the update it appears that the client didn't actually get the new indexed server location.
So, I'm still experimenting with this, but if anyone has a brilliant solution, I'd love to hear it. Otherwise, I may just have to tell all the users to manually run an update from the new server.

Print issue with personas
Hi Friends,
I have front-end printing set according to the
instructions in note 771683. Essentially you print to a PDF file
which appears in a pop-up window, from where you can save or print as
you would with and other PDF file displayed in a web browser window. This
doesn't appear to work from within Personas, though. A spool request is
created, and in SP01 it looks like the print was successful, but no
pop-up window appears with the PDF file in it.
But when i click on print preview i can see the document and also print
but when i click on print directly nothing happening but sp01 shows
completed successful.

Message on full screen - SAP Screen Personas
Hi Experts,
I'm having a issue on my instance with SAP Screen Personas when i'm viewing the flavors on full screen mode or when i expand the screen. A message that appears on the bottom of page is (Message 123 Class Message 00 and it has showed as "Success") "Input data incorrects: display - window dimension conflict". This message appears in every page i open and persists until we lower the size of page of Personas again. My worry is this message mess up the scripts who read the result messages on the bottom of transactions. Anyone have ideas of why this message appear? I just can't use the full screen mode, without receiving this message, if i don't have a screen that comports the whole page without generate scrollbars?
