SAP EXCEL In Place suddenly does not work

Hi there experts,

 

after a MS Office automatic update last week, all Excel in place from alv in SAP stopped working. We've realised that with that update, some 'trust in X applicacion' flag at excel macro security tab was dechecked. We've re selected that and started working again, but one user is still unable to work with that, the EXCEL in place simply show an empty EXCEL, no data in it. Does anyone have a hint what could this be result of? I've taked wit MS IT guys, they've reinstalled the MS OFFICE and also they've tried to put the user's PC to some recovery point with no succes. It's quite strange and I haven't got any hint. Any help would be really thankful!

Timeout working on MS Word from SAP

Hi,

 

We have a problem. When we are working with Word from a SAP dynpro we work normally but in 30 minutes the logout timer gets us off the program. Why? How can I change this? Is there a parameter or something that controls this third parties in SAP?

SAP GUI 7.30 for Windows Installation Problem

Dear Forum

 

I have succesfully created a SAP Installation server and created a package.

 

However when I go to a client and run nwsapsetup.exe /package , the installer loads fine and I can select my configured package , however after clicking finish the installer just closes and nothing happens.     This is the same on several machines and therefore is a problem with my installation server \ source.   Any ideas?

Sap Gui Input history not working on window 7 sp1 (prof.) gui ver (7.30)

Hello,

 

Sap gui input history not working on windows 7 (sp1) professional. Installed gui version is 7.30.Initially it was working and suddently its not working.I have gone through the notes provided by sap ,but still not woking. Appreciate your advice to resolve the issue.

 

Checked using Component Checker tool:  Message "UNKNOW" MDAC servsion.

MDAC version as per registry shows : 6.1.xxx.xxx.xxx

 

One of sap notes , says to execute History.exe  to check db connectivity . History.exe output shows DB error , valid jet engine found..

not created Temp DB  in C:\ as per the note.

 

Missmatch column shows expected version 2.82xxxx. for mda*.dll

SAP Screen Display is frozen

Hello Professional,

 

I have encountered an issue in one of the functional user's desktop, every time the user is doing a multiple session the screen display is getting frozed and when I have tried closing the session it won't disappear. I have reinstalled the SAP Application in the user's desktop and still encountering the same error. The SAP GUI that we have currently is SAP GUI 720. Is there any insights or thoughts that you can suggest with to avoid the issue?

sapinstgui install fails - connection refused

Hello,

 

I am trying to install the netweaver trial from NWABAPTRIAL70211_64 on Windows 7 Home Premium (possibly not a valid OS, but I saw another post claiming that it was possible). The server seems to install from sapinst OK, and appears to be running (green from SAP Management Consol).

 

When I try to install the GUI by running sapinstgui, I get the message:

 

"Error while connecting to communications partner - see preceding messages.

Could not connect to host localhost on port 21212.

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect"

 

Other people have had this error, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. I have tried logging on as different users, and I ran netstat -ano.  Port 21212 does not appear in that listing (potentially a problem?).  I have turned off Windows firewall.

 

Please note that the only reason I am doing this is to provide a platform to learn ABAP.

SAPGui for Java can not download to excel in Mac

Dear Expert ,

 

I have problem when I use SAPGUI for Java 7.30 (Version ID 073000040000) on my Mac with OSX 10.8.3 Mountain Lion.

I always failed when I want to download report to excel file or other format.

It's happened also when I want to upload file from my mac to SAP , for example : when I run LSMW with file from Mac.

The problem is , I can not select or defined where directory (mac directory)

Please help me what should I do , because it's not happened when I used version 7.20 in OSX 10.7.x

SAP Installation Server (7.30 and BC4) problems

Hi All

 

I am currently having an issue deploying Business Client 4 along with SAP GUI 7.30 and SAP Easy Documentation. I have tried looking for the Business Client files on service.sap.com and can only find a .exe file and for the deployment i need a setup folder?

 

Can anyone help?

Hi all,

The problem is I cannot connect and log on via SAPGUI.

I am very new to SAP. I have just managed to install SAP ECC6.0 on my laptop running server 2008 service pack2. It created another user account "IDSAdmin" itself when the installation finished. Everey thing (SAP ECC, Oracle, Java) is 64 bit.

But the GUI is 32 bit and after installation when I tried to connect some error comes up. Error details are

Minisap NSP is yellow

Hello experts, I bought ABAP book with minisap DVD. I install SW from DVD and Im not able start application server.

 

I have virtual PC, virtual memory up to 4092, computer name less than 20 char, win XP.

I tried run SAP management console, start NSP, fill correct pass but NSP is yellow.

Unable to Connect to a System in SAP Screen Personas "System Selection"

Hi,

 

I am trying to configure SAP Screen Personas.

When I launch the mainapp page, the system is prompting for user credentials.

Then I get "System Selection" screen where the system I have configured is listed on the left.

But when I click that it is not showing anything.

 

please see the screenshot below.

Any help to resolve this and go ahead is highly appreciated.

SAP Installation Server

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, moderator please move to the appropriate forum if necessary!

 

I'm having an issue with the SAP GUI Installation Server.   I have it installed, and I've created my "Package".  But when I run the package it's saying there are missing pre-requisites.  It then presents me with a interactive window with the name of my package on it.  I can then check mark that name, click "Next" and it proceeds to successfully install the package.

 

Clearly I'm missing something!  How can I get it to install properly?

SAP Logon Pad favorites cannot be saved

Hello,

 

I'm using SAP GUI 7.30 Patch 4 Hotfix 1.

I configured the distribution of the configuration as specified in SAP note 1426178. Everything works perfectly when I am using SAP Logon. But when I am using SAP Logon Pad, the favorites are not saved.

Am I doing something wrong or is this working as intended?

Error while testing SAP Service

Until now when we tested the services in our local SAP(like Reporting Service), they worked fine.

Now suddenly the following error is coming up.

Unwanted job generates in Production system..

Hi,

 

In our production system one job gets generated automatically and consumes the valuable work processes(dia & btc).

Every time i have to cancel these unwanted job from sm66.

 

Some times, required jobs remains in released state because of no free btc processes...

 

That Unwanted job is Run under DDIC user, SAPLSNR3 Report, Sequential read & NRIV Table..

 

please help me to resolve this issue...

WEB GUI not working via VPN

Hello All,

 

I'm having an unusual issue. My standard HTML Gui is not working via the VPN. It was working prior to our EHP6 upgrade (from EHP4) this weekend. It works fine when just launching it within the firewall, but when logging in through a Juniper VPN connection since the upgrade it errors. The error I am getting in the browser is...

"Webpage error details

URI: https://VPNHOSTNAME.COM/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui,DanaInfo=<FQDN>.com,Port=8080,SSO=U+?sap-client=300

Message: 'UCF_LS' is undefined"

 

I've tried this on Chrome, Firefox and IE8. Getting the same results.

 

I've increased my SMICM time to a ridiculous level to make sure it wasn't a time out issue.

I've republished all my services.

I've cleared my server cache in SMICM.

I've even republished all MIME objects using program 'WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES'.

 

None of this should make a difference though. The real mystery is why it works within the firewall and doesn't through a VPN. It should behave exactly the same.

 

Any clues to the mystery will be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

 

I've recently installed new SAP GUI 7.30 (build 1337608, version 7300.1.0.1074) and now I have problem with menu bar in AdobeForms transaction SFP. The problem is that the is NO menu at all.

 

I've tried to install different versions of Adobe Livecycle designer - 9.0, 9.8, 10.4, all downloaded from SAP Marketplace, but for every version this problem was occuring.

 

I've also adjusted my registry as it is described in note 1001103, also without any results.

 

Does any of You faced the same problem as I have now? Do You have any solution for that?
