We have installed and configured the SAP Screen Personas, after log in the system display the error message "No authorization for access this system. If this is not correct, please contact the system administrator".

Workstation repeatedly asking for updates
1. Why after upgrading my installation server from 7.30 to 7.40 some of my workstations repeatedly ask for updates, even after running the update several times and reboot after each update? After patching the server, is there a way to update one package and not the others?
2. I have my server set to reboot each workstation after each update, but none of them ever prompt for an reboot.

Reuse Flavors for Custom transactions - sap personans 2
Hi All,
I've 4 custom transactions a,b,c,d with similar screen flow of 5 screens. I created Flavor X ,customized all the 5 screens for transaction 'a'. which took almost 4 weeks. Now how can I reuse this flavor for the remaining transactions b,c,d. Do I have to create all over again for rest of the transactions?

Error while displaying data using WebRFC
Hi Everyone,
I have created a webRFC , It displays personnel details by giving pernr number. I was able to get the output in the flavor , but in some case , its throwing error ,Suppose if the name is STEFAN PFÄNDILI,. it contains a letters other than alphabets its thrwoing an error.
How to solve this issue.?

Trying to make sense of OSS Note 1999747 - Screen ID Overwrite Rules?
Guys - a prompt response would be much appreciated.
These are the suggested entries for VA02...
From what I understand I am using:
4002: Sales Header Overview which I am boiling down to one simple screen using tab caching
4001: Sales Order Item Overview - again a simplified version of with tab caching
4003: Sales Order Item Detail with tab caching
BUT also for the possibility of third party requisition in some cases there is also a flavour of VA02 SAPLEBNE/0102 (called from the Schedule Line tab of 4003).
i) What I'm not clear about from the example table above is why the new screen number X00X contains (is linked to) the old screen numbers for one header screen (4002) & one Item screen (4001) YET screen 4003 (another line item screen) is linked to new screen ID Y00Y?
ii) The new screen numbers can be anything, e.g. ZZZZ, YYYY as long as they are unique .... is that correct?
iii) We have not written any new program code so I'm assuming I can leave that column blank?
iv) Would VA02 SAPLEBNE/0102 by linked to 4003 in this context?
Any help much appreciated.

I am trying to print an image in smartforms.
Is there any way to reduce image size other than resolution? I have uploaded one Image i want it to be displayed in different sizes.
Is there any possible way for this?
Do i need to upload one image and resize it through code r some thing? or do i need to upload many images as i want?

Sap Screen Personas 2.0 - Flavor Editing
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding Flavor Maintenance with sap Screen presonas 2.0.
Is it possible to edit an existing Flavor from an another user?
Or can i edit only my own flavors? If this is true, how is it possible to maintain the Screen personas flavors in the productive Environment (Change requests)?

SAP Screen Personas - Problem with entering field value
Hi,
I have created a flavour on transaction VC01N_M - Creating Mailings.
Within this flavour, I am not able to enter any values in some field, for example contact type or organizational units (neither a free text nor via search help).
Even on standard screen (but within flavour editor) the same problem.
Did anyone have similiar problems with other dynpros or any suggestion where this behavior comes from?
We are using the latest ERP 6.17 with Personas 200 SP 0002, Basis 740 SP 0007.

SAP GUI 740 upgrade from 730 is not migrating config file
Hi, I have some issues while upgrading to SAP GUI 740 and NWBC5.0 from GUI 730 and NWBC 4.0.
presently we are using SAP GUI 730 and NWBC 4.0 and upgrading to SAP GUI 740 with NWBC 5.0.In this process i am seeing config files are not properly migrating.
when i try to add or access any message server load balancing entries it's not working as expected. 7.40 SAPGui with NWBC5 installation has Config file migration issues.
1.If you install SAPGUI740 with NWBC5.0 it will use Config file as “SAPUILandscape.xml” and while update migration tool supposed to copy saplogon.ini and NWBCOptions.XML file . During the Migration Process it’s not copying all the files, It only brings the information from custom application entry from old SAPGUI and has issues updating Group/Server entry’s .
When we tried to access Load Balancing system will see below message. error parsing SAP GUI command line '/FULLMENU SNC_PARTNERNAME="xx" SNC_QOP=9 /UPDOWNLOAD_CP=2' After adding SNC_PARTNERNAME and SNC_QOP in SAPUILandscape.xml will give same error without SNC_PARTNERNAME and SNC_QOP.i tried to edit this Config file entries from saplogon.ini but still it’s not picking, And also it’s not updating the existing NWBC4.0 version, It’s creation new NWBC5.0
2.If you install SAPGUI 740 without NWBC5.0 it uses existing saplogon.ini as a configuration file and updating GUI version to 7.40. Now I am able to access message server load balancing system and see all the SNC and Logon Entries.
3.If you install NWBC5.0 separate it is not updated existing NWBC4.0 but it’s created NWBC50 folder separate, How can i bring the SAP GUI 730 and NWBC 4.0 to one common SAPGUI 740 & NWBC5.0 functionality. Regards Janakiram

I use transactions: SQ01, SQ02, SQ03.
I try to build query for internal orders ( information about senders, profit centers, settlements rules etc )
I use COBRA, COBRB, and AUFK tables. How it should look like this correctly?
Any clue and suggestion?

SAP Screen Personas 2.0 - /PERSOS/SHRTLINK Table FlavorID column blank
Hi,
We have created flavors for a transaction using SAP Screen Personas 2.0 SP02 (updated to the latest patch). We are using NWBC 4.0 to render these flavors (i.e. generating shortlinks and wrapping them as BSP applications in a PFCG role).
The transaction has been split into multiple flavors.
We built this in the config client (with minimal data) and transported them to the unit test client. I generated new shortlinks for the flavor to be rendered in NWBC (ex. Transaction_Flavor_1) and updated PFCG. However, now when I render the flavor in NWBC, Transaction_Flavor_4 is rendered (everytime, and I havent set it as the default flavor).
I noticed that (in this client) while generating shortlinks, the /PERSOS/SHRTLINK table has the FlavorID column blank.
I have just raised an OSS as well. Was wondering if anyone else faced the same issue? And I wonder why this worked in another client but not in this one.

I have integrated SAP personas in CRM WEBIC via URL based transaction launcher.
However when the SAP personas transaction is opened on WEBIC, and when i type /O in command button, it opens a new pop-up window.
Is there any way to restrict it.

Pass parameter from one session to another in Personas 2.0
Hi,
We have made some entries in ME21N transaction and have launched a report ME2L with using script without saving our data on ME21N. While we launch ME21N from ME2L report all previous entries which were entered are lost and new ME21N screen is open. As per our requirement we need to be back to ME21N screen to the point where we had left before ME2L report launch.
Please find scrren shot ME21N and script for launch of ME2L report.

The same script has different outcomes depending on when it is called ... ?
Can anyone suggest what the problem is here ... hopefully the screen shots make it clear but please ask for any clarifications or additional information if necessary. I have attached these jpgs as well so you can see them blown up for more detail...

LocalHistoryIsOn inconsistent with ECC?
i) This attribute only works with the down arrow; not the back space, can that be turned on?
ii) The history is only retained for the current session - when you log out and log back in again the jistory has been cleared - again is there any way to make it the same as standard SAP.

NiHsLGetNodeAddr unknown - SAP GUI 740 for Windows - hostname empty - 'NiHsLGetNodeAddr' unknown
we are getting an error while connecting to SAP system "NiHsLGetNodeAddr" unknown.
That is after updating SAP GUI for windows from version 730 to 740.
The version of SAP GUI is as below:-

As per SAP Note 2077230
we need do workaround to avoid this error after upgrade of SAP GUI.
In your windows workstation; go to location of "SAPUILandscape.xml".
use RUN (open RUN using combination of WindowsKey+R) and type "%appdata%"
you can find the SAPUILandscape.xml inside SAP folder.
Edit this file (SAPUILandscape.xml) using Notepad or Notepad++ (optional, widows application).
you need to Scroll it to down and find the entries related to "<Routers>" & change the entries as per SAP Note.
you should replace or change /H/" to " followed by re-start of SAP GUI (close all sessions and re-open SAP GUI).
i.e....when opened in notepad, you need to change the following:
Note: Here 10.20.30.40 as an example for router String.
router="/H/10.20.30.40/H/"/>
to
router="/H/10.20.30.40"/>
router="/H/server.company.com/H/"/>
to
router="/H/server.company.com"/>
To make it simple:-
1 - windowsKey+R.
2 - Type " %appdata%\SAP " (type without " ).
3 - Backup the Original files to another location.
4 - Open SAPUILandscape.xml file with notepad.
5 - Use Key board short cut, ctrl+H for find and replace.
5.1 - Key in the string in Find " router="/H/<IPaddress of SAP router / FQDN of SAP router>/H/"/> ".
5.2 - Key in the string in replace " router="/H/<IPaddress of SAP router / FQDN of SAP router>"/> ".
6 - Save changes.
7 - Close all SAP GUI sessions (save and logoff, just in case).
8 - close SAP GUI
9 - Re-open SAP GUI & you can try connecting to SAP server.
Normal SAP GUI entry will be as below:-
After Editing the .xml file and restart of SAP GUI, the entry looks like as below:-

After change in the .xml file will be with changes as below (look for RED circle):-
Please close all active sessions (if existing) followed by CLOSE and re-start of SAP GUI.

For your information only:-
The .Xml file contains the following parts, easy to understand when opened with IE. But, edit using notepad or notepad++.
Note: the number of entries is dependent on number of entries maintained by you in SAP GUI.
As per SAP Note this error will be fixed with patch 1 (for SAP GUI windows 740) and expected release will be after Dec 8th 2014.

hostname 'NiHLGetNodeAddr' unknown SAP GUI 7.40
Hi friends, I just downloaded this morning SAP GUI 7.40 for Windows (yes, is available as of today Oct. 6, I just found it in download section) and installed successfully on my Windows 8.1 system. Everything seems to be working perfectly except systems with SAP Router connection. I got this error:
hostname 'NiHLGetNodeAddr' unknown
Anybody else with this issue?
